Just a little update, as I’ve been off the page recovering from surgery. 😂

I originally thought I’d be back at work after six weeks, but unfortunately, my shoulder had other plans! The surgery turned out to be more involved than expected, and physio decided to add a little extra drama to the recovery. 🤦‍♀️

So here I am, still recovering, while apparently my unofficial fan club is still working overtime! 😂

Despite me barely being around, it seems some people are still very interested in what I’m doing, when I’m returning to work and what’s happening with my business. Messages through eBay and Messenger asking when I’ll be back… honestly, I didn’t realise my return-to-work date was such an exciting event! Should I send out invitations? 🤣
I mean one very keen individual has even joined one of my free items local groups despite not living in the area … 10/10 for effort I suppose

Anyway, I’m concentrating on getting better, getting my shoulder working properly and hopefully starting a phased return to work over the next few weeks.

To my unofficial audience: the comeback date is still TBC. Please stop refreshing! 😂❤️

Well… I’m still here! 😂

You may have noticed I’ve been a bit quiet lately… and no, I haven’t disappeared under a pile of mugs! ☕🤣

The truth is I’ve been juggling hospital appointments, GP visits, shoulder pain that’s determined to win every argument, and trying to get the house ready for life after surgery. Whoever said “rest before surgery” clearly never had a house to organise! 😂

Despite all that, I’ve somehow managed to squeeze in these lovely customer orders too! ❤️ (I’m beginning to suspect coffee has become one of the major food groups.)

From Friday, the page will be taking a little nap and my eBay shop will be switched to Away Mode while I’m repaired, serviced and hopefully upgraded… although at my age I suspect I’ll only qualify for a software update rather than new parts! 🤣

Now here’s the funny bit…

In the past, whenever I’ve dared to be ill or even go on holiday, there always seems to be a mysterious outbreak of drama. It’s almost as predictable as British rain! 🌧️

So this time I’ve already made the police aware of my concerns. If any of the usual nonsense magically appears while I’m recovering - strange messages, questionable feedback, or creative claims about broken parcels without evidence - then it can all be looked into properly.

Here’s hoping everyone surprises me and behaves themselves… although if some people put as much effort into their own lives as they do watching mine, they could probably solve world peace by now! 😂

Anyway… enough about that!

Good morning everyone! ☀️

Today is all about spending time with my two gorgeous grandchildren. ❤️

Yesterday afternoon I was back at the hospital for my pre-op swabs, so everything is moving along ready for my shoulder surgery. The team have said that because I spend my days printing, pressing, sewing and generally using my hands non-stop, recovery is likely to be 6–8 weeks rather than the hoped-for six.

Don’t worry though… after a few weeks I’ll have a trusted friend popping onto the page to keep everyone updated on how I’m doing.

They’ll also be keeping an eye on my eBay account while I’m recovering… just in case the ‘UK Tour of Random Buyers’ decides to make another appearance! 🤔😂

It’s funny how these little patterns seem to crop up at the strangest times! Thankfully, I’ve already reported my concerns and documented everything with the relevant authorities, so if history decides to repeat itself while I’m recovering, it’ll simply become part of the information already being looked at.

For now, I’m concentrating on getting through surgery, making a good recovery and getting back to doing what I love. ❤️

🏴‍☠️ Finished at last! 🏴‍☠️

Despite my shoulder causing me quite a bit of pain over the last couple of days, I managed to finish this pirate-inspired mug yesterday and I’m really pleased with how it turned out. ❤️

📢 Important notice for my customers:

My last day for eBay orders will be Friday 24th July.

✅ All orders placed by then will be made and posted on Monday 27th July.

My business page will then be going offline from 28th July while I undergo shoulder surgery. I’ll be back as soon as I’m recovered enough to use my arm comfortably and safely.

I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my small business over the years. Your orders, kind words and recommendations really do mean the world to me. ❤️

Unfortunately, there are still a small number of people who continue to target and harass me online. This has been ongoing for a long time and is being dealt with through the appropriate channels. I’m not going to be discussing it any further, as my priority now is my health, my family and recovering from surgery.

I simply ask to be left in peace while I focus on getting well.
