Time talk to talk day has come around and it works as a reminder that you don't always know what's going on with.
According to Mind:
- 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in England [1].
- 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (like anxiety and depression) in any given week in England
Here are some things you can do this Time to Talk Day.
- Text a friend
- Arrange a phone call
- Plan a lunch and learn
- Send a care package
- Invite someone on a walk
The big thing to remember if someone is opening up to you about their mental health; be kind, don't judge them and do not try to fix things for them (unless they ask).
