This was so much fun to write - especially finding all the YouTube videos to include. My mind was especially blown by the discovery that the original theme tune for Give Us a Clue was the same music as Grange Hill's (clip in the story if you don't believe me ;) )

One thing I love about writing about parenting is that even when you think you know it all, things move on and prove you wrong! Yesterday, I wrote all about peri bottles and how they can help when you've given birth. I feel a little aggrieved that I've given birth four times and no one told me they existed (I was just told to pour warm water from a jug) but it seems they are a big thing in the US that are now making their way over the pond...

Anyway, anything that makes that first post-birth wee a little less terrifying has got to be a good thing!

Most new mums will tell you that giving birth isn’t exactly a comfortable experience and when it comes to going to the toilet afterwards, just the thought of it can be a little terrifying.

I’ve been doing shifts at Mother & Baby and Yours all week. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to worry about things like resizing images and writing meta descriptions etc - I usually just email off my words and they eventually appear by magic 😉😂 - but I’ve enjoyed getting to grips with the back end stuff again. And it’s meant I’ve been able to write about a wide range of things from Bullseye to David Attenborough!
