We spent a lot of time this past year with trees. Through making our film Climbing Giants we have come to appreciate their grandeur and the important role they play in our world. So we have offset the carbon footprint of making this film (about 5 tonnes) by making a donation to forest conservation projects. If you have extra cash, even a small amount, this is a great way to help in the fight against environmental destruction and the climate crisis.

Premiering our film Climbing Giants was soo much fun! If you weren't able to make it, here are some highlights:

Through ticket sales alone we raised over $2,200. And we want to give it back to the Burr and Burton Academy cinema program in a special way. We are creating Sol Sun Media Documentary Grant to support BBA students who want to tell unique stories with a social or environmental focus. Students will be able to apply, starting in the spring semester of 2020, for up to $500 in cash to fund their own documentary film projects.

We want to thank the 230+ people who came to watch our crazy movie and support this incredible program & school!
