Here at Printworks we are very excited about our new Xerox Digital press and the benefits it will bring for our customers.

Ideal for small quantities and personalised printing, it also enables us to offer increased size options such as printing of A4 landscape booklets and 6pp A4 portrait leaflets.

Another great benefit is we can now print envelopes in house, very useful for marketing campaigns and fundraising for example, or to have your logo on the outside of the envelope.

What is Carbonless (NCR) printing?

Carbonless, NCR printing is a method of document duplication that allows handwritten documents to be easily and instantly copied – without the need for photocopying or extra printing.

When writing on the top sheet, the NCR technology transfers and duplicates the information to a subsequent sheet below, eliminating the need for messy carbon paper.

Make sure the specification is suited to your needs…

We pride ourselves on creating completely bespoke NCR printed products, so you can create carbonless pads, paper and books that work perfectly for your requirements.

Choose a paper size for your NCR printing which will accommodate all your information clearly.

Standard sizes including A6, A5, A4 and A3, but can also be tailored to your individual needs.

Decide whether your form is to be duplicate (2 part), triplicate (3 part) or quadruplicate (4 part).

A duplicate form usually comprises of a customer and file copy.
Select the desired paper colour sequence. White is the most commonly used for the top sheet with middle and bottom sheets being available in white, blue, green, yellow and pink.

Choose how many ink colours for the NCR printing, with 1, 2, 3 and 4 being available.

Determine whether printing is required on one or both sides. Printing on the reverse is usually in the form of terms and conditions.

The finished job will be available to you as either sets, pads or books.
Optional extras include: sequential numbering, perforating, wrap around writing shields, and hole punching.
