Sometime earlier this month, I had a brainwave about how I could dramatically simplify my own website (which I had effectively taken offline, as it was looking rather tired).
The concept was simple enough and based on that popular trend for T-Shirts where you (typically) might have a list of names - such as the members of a popular band (from memory the first one I ever saw was along the lines of:
John&
Paul&
George&
Ringo.
The idea that came to me was to replace those names with the core services that I currently provide to new and existing clients. I then needed to find a mechanism that would enable each one to be clicked/tapped on - to reveal a short statement, acting as a micro introduction to the service.
Over time I plan for each of them to also have a "Read more" kind of link, whereby the reader will be taken to a similar follow-on page, going into further detail (and so on).
For now though, the "site" is merely a single page. An approach actually quite popular in certain scenarios, but one I've always shied away from in the past (unsure why..).
Without any self congratulatory trumpet blowing, I must say that I'm very pleased with the outcome - particularly as I have managed to optimise it in such a way that it performs equally as well on all primary device types.
If you have a moment (and that's all you'll need) please do have a look - and by all means let me know what you think:
