Pardon me just slipped out …
The client made us do it!
Silly jokes aside, we do not like to launch a site on a Friday.
Friday afternoon.
Friday the 13th no less.
But the client insisted, so we did.
Structural Repairs are global specialists in concrete diagnostics, reinforcement and remediation. Innovative and relentlessly inventive, they are inventing techniques and technologies to preserve and revivify the built environment. The benefits—financial, environmental and in terms of safety—are enormous.
It is a company we’re immensely proud to work with.
But they do like things delivered. right. now.
No agency likes to launch a site on a Friday. It’s not the bad old days, but there are still a lot of moving parts. This is a big, important site and things can still go wrong.
So to save potential blushes, we launched this site on the Q.T.
But we had also planned ahead:
Solid Foundations: We built the site on a known and trusted technology stack—with just a sprinkle of custom development. We knew what we were doing.
SEO Protection: We completed extensive URL mapping so that SEO equity would be preserved.
Fresh Eyes: We drafted in industry pals to give us vital third-party sense checking (cheers Wyman!).
Premium Tools: We used some of the best software to manage the transfer. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
The Bible: And, we’ve done this before, we have a well-used, well-practised checklist. Nothing. And I mean nothing, goes live without passing those tests. The client would have liked it two hours sooner, but rules is rules.
So the site slipped out. We made no fanfare (we are neither fools nor hostages to fortune), but it launched without a hitch.
A website of this scale is a critical business asset. If you value your online reputation, your search visibility and your peace of mind, you need a safe pair of hands handling your digital presence.
We don't rely on luck; we rely on rigorous systems, trusted tech and bulletproof checklists.
If you have a major project that needs delivering without the drama, drop us a line.
