What a 1940s Weekend! 📸

I’ve spent the last two days wandering around Sheringham with a camera in my hand, and I’ve come away with a slightly ridiculous amount of photos and video to work through!

One of my favourite things about this weekend is always the people. So many incredible outfits, characters and little moments everywhere you look. It makes Sheringham a brilliant place to photograph.

This is just the first batch. I’ve got plenty more to edit, and hopefully I’ll have the full gallery ready tomorrow.

For now, here are a few favourites from the weekend.

It’s nearly that time of year again… Sheringham is getting ready to step back in time to the 1940s! 🎶

With this year’s 1940s Weekend just around the corner, I thought it was a good excuse to revisit the short film I made from last year’s event.

Featuring The Knightingales performing a medley of 1940s classics, alongside some of my favourite footage from around the town. Vintage vehicles, incredible outfits, packed streets and that atmosphere that completely transforms Sheringham for the weekend.

I’ll be out with the cameras again this year, but for now, here’s a little look back at 2025.

More coast hopping yesterday!

This time I was following the walk from Cromer, through Sheringham and on towards Cley, grabbing photos and video along the way and, whenever I had a few spare minutes, turning the camera back towards the Norfolk coast itself.

One thing I’d never really noticed before was just how much of the coast you can see from Cley. Looking back east, you can actually pick out Skelding Hill and Beeston Bump in the distance. Places that feel quite separate when you’re driving between them suddenly look surprisingly close.

Spent yesterday hopping along the Norfolk coast, filming and photographing a sponsored walk for a Norfolk and Norwich charity. 📸

I’ll share more from the walk itself at a later date, but while I was waiting for them to catch up, I may have cheated slightly and leapfrogged them in the car! 😂

It did mean I had a bit of time at each stop to get the camera and drone out and capture some of our beautiful Norfolk coast along the way.

Any guesses where I stopped? 👀🌊
