Something we see a lot is businesses investing heavily in driving traffic, but not fully interrogating what happens when it arrives.
CRO is the practice of understanding user behaviour on your site, including where people drop off, what's creating friction, what's working better than expected and using that to make informed improvements. It's less about big dramatic overhauls and more about a continuous test-and-learn process that builds over time.
One of the underrated benefits is efficiency. When your site converts better, everything feeding into it, including your paid, organic and email traffic, gets more mileage. You're not necessarily spending more, just getting more from what's already there.
