Two designs were submitted for Newtown Parish Council's new logo.

The brief was the Nightjar bird or trees.

The local heathland and woodland is the common habitat for the Nightjar bird so it made sense to incorporate the bird into the design. I'm glad they went with this design as I felt it was more inkeeping with the area.

Design hits at the strangest of places. The Nightjar logo as a passenger on the A303 and the trees in the MOT centre waiting room 🤣
