THE GREAT BUTTSLAP STICKER SHORTAGE OF 2026! šŸ˜‚šŸŽ£

Following a recent post elsewhere, we thought weā€™d clear something up ā€” The Sign Shop Kent and Buttslapsā„¢ are both very much alive and kicking!

For those who donā€™t know, Buttslapsā„¢ operates from The Sign Shop Kent, and its online shop is hosted through our website, so the two are very much linked behind the scenes.

Weā€™re currently dealing with a lot of work, weā€™re temporarily a little lighter on staff, and one of the team is enjoying a well-earned holiday. So rather than continue taking money for Buttslaps orders when we canā€™t guarantee our normal turnaround, we made the decision to temporarily close the online shop.

Weā€™d rather be honest and say ā€œnot for a couple of weeksā€ than happily take your money and leave you waiting.

After all, we love our stickers as much as anyoneā€¦ but come on, the world isnā€™t going to stop turning over a fishing sticker! šŸ˜‚

Working 7 days a week trying to keep up with demand makes it even more satisfying when another project comes together. šŸ’Ŗ

Weā€™re only a small business, but weā€™re a busy one ā€” and weā€™re growing.

With some of the team taking a well-earned break, September is already looking pretty full, with a strong order book and plenty of great projects underway.

This one for Rosscoā€™s Hair, just opposite our shop, has been a pleasure to see come together. From design and manufacture through to installation, thereā€™s something pretty satisfying about standing back and seeing the finished result ā€” especially when we can see it from our own front window!

Being a small business means long days, wearing plenty of different hats and occasionally wondering where the hours went. But it also means we genuinely care about every job that leaves the workshop.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support, recommend and trust The Sign Shop Kent with their businesses.
