WOLVERINE!! Here I have 3D printed the amazingly designed wolverine mask by Budwin from Makerworld. Such great detail and impressive realistic finishes. Great design for assembling using magnets

So many more printing possibilities with the Bambu Lab P1S!
3D printed my logo and very impressed with how it came out. Added hooks behind to attach to an IKEA Skadis pegboard that sits next to the printer.

Star Wars Black Series Captain Rex, Helmet stand and name plate.
3D printed using the Bambu Lab P1S. So much easier and quicker to print compared to my old printer, made use of the AMS system also to create the name plate, the text came out amazing!

Printer upgrade!!
Excited to announce I have upgraded my 3D printer to the Bambu Lab P1S with the multicolour AMS system.
Better quality, faster prints, multi colour function and print Timelapse’s and even more improvements, I can’t wait to get started!

For reference of faster prints. The socket template took 8 hours on my original printer, now only takes 1 hour! 😱

Features…

Compact design - I have created a more compact design socket template compared to most retailers by having both single and double sockets merged into one instead of having the templates next to each other and becoming a long piece to have in your tool bag.

Center line markings - Center line on both sides of the template, markings both horizontally and vertically to line up with a laser level

15mm Vertical Walls - All vertical edges are 15mm thick to allow you perfectly line up a second template for 2+1 and 2+2 setups.

Approx 20% oversized template - For an oversized socket box cutout trace around the outside edges of the template.
-20% of 133mm (Double Box Length) = 26.6mm
Vertical edges currently = 30mm total ( 22.5% instead of 20% but only works out as 1.7mm either side)
-20% of 73mm (Height of double and single box size) = 14.6mm
Horizontal edges have been made exactly 7.3mm
- For marking a complete oversized single socket, you will need to draw the top and bottom line as the template is currently orientated, then rotate the template 90 degrees using the center line indents for reference and mark the lines using the same edges.

Hello everyone! Here is the Socket template V2!
I’d like to thank all that have commented on my original post on ways I can better improve the template. I look to create things that have as many purposes and benefits. Sometimes the items I make may not be from an industry I have first hand experience in. So having all of your guidance and suggestions from your experience is great help to allow me to make more suitable products for you.

Please have a look and read through the changes I have made. I have tried to implement all suggestions such as centre lines, spacings and oversized options.

I look forward to your guidance and expertise again in future projects.
