At my nail appointment today, I was 100% sure I wanted exactly the same colour as last time.

Not because I couldn’t decide.

Because I already knew it worked with my skin tone.

My lovely nail lady pointed out that the nail colour matched my top. Then she realised it also matched the top I’d worn at my last appointment. Which made us laugh.

I always choose my nail colour to work with my skin. And the added bonus is they then work with all my clothes and accessories too.

Knowing your colours is a huge wardrobe shortcut.

And it’s why choosing a perfect nail colour takes 5 seconds.

3 seconds apart.

Same face.
Same light.
Different colours.

And that’s why colour analysis works.

Usually, it’s because one version of that item made you feel fantastic.

The blazer.
The floral dress.
The Breton stripe.
The leather leggings.

Ever since then, you’ve been trying to recreate that feeling.

What’s yours?

Most women already own enough makeup.

Yes, they may need the odd product tweak.

Mostly, they need to know what skincare and techniques work for the face they have today.

Once you’re confident in what you’re doing, a £4.99 product used well will work better than a £40 one that’s been sitting in your makeup bag for the last six months.

Makeup lessons available in salon or in your home.

Ever put something on and instantly felt drab or washed out…

Most women assume it’s them.

It’s not! It’s the colours, shapes and outfit combinations they’re choosing.

Change those, and everything starts to feel brighter.

Like to wear black?

Do these things, especially if black isn’t your best colour:

Open your neckline - try a v neck, scoop, or an open shirt collar, so the colour isn’t so close to your face.

Add palette true makeup - that’s a blush and a lip that match your undertone, to bring flattering shades and light back to the centre of your face.

How to tell if black isn’t for you:

Hold it up to your face in daylight. If your skin looks dull and you see extra shadows, it’s probably not your colour.

Want certainty? I’ll map your best colours and how to wear them in 90 minutes.

Individual and group Colour sessions are available in June, DM for details.

Save this for your next black outfit.

Seven years ago, I paid for online colour analysis and colour + shape advice from a stylist.

I thought I was buying help with my wardrobe.

Instead, it completely changed the way I see colour, makeup, outfits and even buildings forever.

Afterwards:

- I removed about 50% of my wardrobe
- pale grey quietly disappeared from my life
- I stopped wearing black and white together
- I became weirdly specific about makeup and nail shades
- I bought far fewer shoes, but now every pair works with most pieces in my wardrobe
- I became obsessed with layering colours together and creating colour combinations that just worked
- I found myself genuinely perplexed by people who couldn’t see what I could see
- I developed a violent dislike for buildings with cool and warm tones mixed together 😭
- I shared what I’d learned with some friends and now they talk about colour the way I do 😍

Eventually…

…I trained in colour analysis and built my own business with colour at its core.

Because once you suddenly SEE colour harmony properly, it’s very hard to unsee it again.

Most women don’t need more clothes.

They need:

- fab colour
- flattering shape
- clearer definition

and contrast that works for them.

That’s what I teach you in less than one morning - and it WILL change how you get dressed every day.

When was the last time you walked out of the house on a random Wednesday and thought:
‘Yes. I like this outfit. I feel like me’.

Not dressed for an occasion.
Not hiding in black.
Not changing three times before work.

Just getting dressed and feeling right in what you’re wearing.

That’s the real power of understanding your colours and shape.

Not one perfect outfit.
A wardrobe that works for your real life.
