I LOVE analysing redheads.

And most of the redheaded ladies who come to see me have one thing in common.

They’ve been told to wear green their whole lives.

And yes, some greens look absolutely gorgeous. But some greens are really, REALLY not it.

And anyway there’s SO much more to beautiful red hair than just finding the right green.

We might discover a gorgeous blue that makes your eyes look incredible.

The perfect peach blush that brings your whole face to life.

Your best jewellery shade.

The neutrals that actually flatter you.

Then we start thinking about colours for things like coats and bags, so it all starts to connect.

That’s the bit I love.

Breaking colour stereotypes and showing you EXACTLY what makes you GLOW.

What’s the point of investing in fab skincare and maybe aesthetics… then wearing colours that drain the glow you’ve already invested in?

One of my clients was brilliant at her job.
Senior, confident, successful.

She knew a great blazer when she saw one.

But she’d got stuck in a traditional idea of what a woman at her level was supposed to wear.

And her serious colours were doing absolutely nothing for her FAB skin.

Finding her colours was a massive shift.

Then we looked at prints that worked for her, shapes, accessories and all the components that make a FAB outfit work on HER.

And suddenly there were so many more possibilities.

She just needed the information.

And once she understood it, she could play with it.

She could look like the senior leader she was, but modern, interesting and completely herself.

And that’s when the joy came back.

I bet you love to look FAB but also like you haven’t tried very hard.

Nonchalantly gorgeous, I call it.

This outfit looks effortless. But there are actually 8 styling decisions making it sing.

The blue and warm brown complement each other beautifully.

The blue harmonises with her undertone.

The high waist raises the waistline and lengthens the leg.

The wide leg balances her proportions.

The open shirt creates a V and draws the eye into the centre of her frame.

The tuck gives waist definition.

The metallic details lift two really simple pieces.

Even the scale of the accessories has been considered.

And yet none of it looks overly styled.

That’s the magic bit.

Once you understand colour and how to dress YOUR proportions, you don’t need complicated outfits or a huge budget.
