🎥 THE TASK WAS SIMPLE… GO OUT AND CAPTURE THE BOAT. 🚤
Craig from Boatyard Tales got in touch and asked if we could grab some footage of Victoria heading back into the Tyne.

Simple enough, right? 😂
Well… the wind had other ideas. 💨🤣

We battled it out with the drone and managed to get some footage before deciding we'd rather bring the drone home in one piece than donate it to the North Sea. 😂

Still, we managed to capture Victoria making her way back in — and it was great to be asked to help another local creator.
Apparently we've even earned ourselves a fishing trip aboard Victoria for our efforts soon..... 🎣😂

If you missed it last night, we’ve rebranded to Tyneside Online! Our friends over the water wanted a bit of the action too, so shuffle up—there’s room for everyone! 😂🌉

Let’s hope North Tyneside are just as welcoming as you wonderful lot… we don’t take up much room, but we are going to talk a lot 🤣❤️

To some, this is just a page. To us, it’s something we’ve put a lot of time and effort into—using the tools and data Facebook gives us to achieve amazing results in such a short time. 📈

Along the way, we’ve kept track of the businesses that have supported us. Businesses have come, businesses have gone, and there are some… well, we’ll just stop there! 😂👀

GOOD MORNING SOUTH TYNESIDE! ☀️🐈‍⬛
Now then… does anyone recognise this little fella? 😂

If you've been anywhere near Tyne Dock Metro recently, there's a good chance you've already met him.

For weeks, this very friendly black cat has been turning up day and night, sitting near the Metro, making friends with passers-by and apparently convincing half of Tyne Dock that he needs feeding. 😂

People have been leaving him water and treats, stopping for cuddles and even posting online because they were worried he might be lost.
Well… the mystery has been solved.

He has a home.
He's loved.
He's microchipped.
He's neutered.
He just apparently prefers spending his days at Tyne Dock Metro collecting cuddles and Dreamies from his rapidly growing fan club. 😂🐈‍⬛❤️

He's become such a familiar face that we're thinking he deserves his own little feature on South Tyneside Online so here it is.

So, good morning from us — and presumably good morning from the unofficial Tyne Dock Metro Cat, wherever he's wandered off to today. 😂

We’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who commented on the story we published yesterday. ❤️

The lady in that story is Dee’s mum. City Boxes. This has been an incredibly painful experience for her and our family, and your support means so much.

We completely understand and share the anger people have expressed. We also feel that the sentence doesn’t reflect the lasting harm caused to her.

We do, however, want to thank the police. We know they sometimes receive criticism even from us, but on this occasion we cannot fault the support they gave us or how they dealt with the matter.

The same goes for the judge. Having been there, we don’t blame him for the sentence. He made his feelings about the attack very clear and he went as far as the sentencing guidelines allowed. We came away knowing that he wanted to impose a longer sentence too.

Once the comments slow down a little, we’ll work through them and acknowledge every one. Please bear with us, and know that your kindness and support haven’t gone unnoticed.
