Southsea’s new promenade is now open with wider paths, new seating, improved accessibility and dedicated cycling lanes.

Part of the £180m coastal scheme stretching from Old Portsmouth to Eastney, the project will continue to deliver wider walkways, cycle routes and vital floor defences.

The Royal Navy destroyer HMS Dragon has now been sent to Cyprus to help protect the UK’s military presence in the region following rising tensions in the Middle East and a recent drone strike near RAF Akrotiri.

The advanced Type 45 air-defence destroyer is designed to track and intercept missiles, drones and aircraft, making it one of the Royal Navy’s most capable ships for protecting bases and allied forces from aerial threats.

HMS Dragon is now heading to the eastern Mediterranean as part of the UK’s effort to reinforce security and stability in the region.

Another cracker from the - dare I say it, but is this the best one yet?

Every year we are immersed in the magical, funny and entertaining world of Panto at The Kings theatre, I’ve been going with my family for as long as I can remember which is why it always amazes me that it feels so fresh every single year.

Clever comical moments off the cuff, you’ll hear the adults bursting out laughing, children clapping along and the whole audience involved in sing alongs and the typical Panto vibe but all with a Kings Theatre twist.

There are absolutely no spoilers here but as it’s Aladdin, I can let you know that the magic carpet scene is spectacular!

It’s an absolute pleasure to have The Kings and such talent on our doorstep.
