Valley Graphics (formerly known as The Print Centre, or Design & Print Centre) is a trading department at the University of Southampton - open to all, including external businesses & organisations. We offer graphic design, print and signage all in house from a team with over 250 years of combined experience in the design and print industries. You can visit us in person at our Client Hub, located i

n Building 36 at Highfield Campus, or at our production unit on Empress Road. For photocopying and academic printing and bindery you can find us in Building 37 at Highfield Campus.

This exhibition opens tomorrow at God's House Tower and runs until 1st June, and we were so happy to provide the printed elements including FSC boards and vinyl posters.

Do you know how we got the name "Valley Graphics"?

There are a few factors that contributed to our new name...

➡️ Valley Gardens is located on Highfield campus, and is celebrated by the University community for its diverse species of plants and wildlife. Sustainability is a key value in the recently launched UoS strategy, and this aligns well with our own values. Using 'Valley Gardens' in our rebrand demonstrates our connection to the University, along with emphasising our commitment to sustainability.

➡️ It was also the favourite place of our longest serving team member of the department, Tony Bowers, who sadly passed away in late 2017. He has a memorial bench in Valley Gardens and the team felt honouring Tonys service would be a fitting tribute, forming the start of our new journey as Valley Graphics.
