Have recently completed a one page website for a fantastic organisation that my fiancée and I help with. She's one of the assistant organisers and is also the league's equality officer.
I built the website & have started helping as an assistant organiser to make sure matches run properly on the day.
League of our Own is South London’s first non-FA affiliated football league. Female led, LGBTQ+ & trans inclusive: https://leagueofourownfootball.wordpress.com

This is a grassroots organisation started by friends & allies. As more funds become available the plan is to take the site beyond a one page website and add more capability. At the moment it is free hosted but the league plan to do more soon. But it just goes to show what you can put together on a free hosted site with a basic package.

For the first time in my life I am working on a web project that is truly the most personal I have ever embarked on.

Created in collaboration with my best friend, we are building a website that not only offers thoughtful blogs on how the world affects our community, but also talks about our lived experiences. Sometimes with joy and sometimes in fear.

I am the one who takes her powerful words and formats them into something that complements her thoughts. But I also contribute with insights into my lived experiences too as well as research and writing help/guidance pages.

We're also building practical help for our community, which gives them support and guidance to affect change for themselves and live their lives as they choose to.

Twenty one years in web design and web management and I really believe this is the best thing I have been a part of.

(This is not a 1976Designs project as it is much more personal than that but I thought I would share this bit of news)

The official John 5 website got a re-skin makeover this week in line with new photos & era artwork. There's been some updates to discography pages & more on the site. An updated bio will be in place soon.
1976Designsuk is also celebrating 21 - YES, TWENTY-ONE years this May working with John 5. Where does the time fly?!
