🌊✨ Ever had a moment that made you confront your fears head-on?
hen I was just 13, I had a panic attack in a lift.
Back in 1957, in the UK, panic attacks weren't really recognized as a medical issue.
Because of that experience, I avoided plane travel for years, missing out on countless holiday adventures.
Fast forward to about five years ago, I decided to try cruising.
This year, while on a cruise, I found myself on Deck 9.
After a day of exploring, I had to rejoin the ship from Deck 2, which meant tackling seven flights of stairs.
By the time I reached my cabin, I was completely exhausted, and my partner was worried since they prefer the lift.
Later that evening, after dinner on Deck 6, my partner urged me to take the lift.
You know what? I did it!
Just a short journey of three decks, but it felt like a huge victory.
It’s a reminder that sometimes, stepping out of our comfort zones can lead to unexpected gains.
Just like in the 9-5 grind, pushing through challenges can open doors to new experiences!
