Well, there it is — 20 years!

Twenty years ago, I returned to after travelling the world, not really sure where I was heading or what my next adventure would be. Then, after a friend spotted a job advert in an office window for a graphic designer, I dusted off the suit and white shoes, headed for an interview… and the rest, as they say, is history.

Twenty years have absolutely flown by, which I think is testament to what a fantastic company Access Point Ltd is to work for. I’ve made so many great friends and memories along the way, and hopefully there are plenty more still to come.

Access Point colleagues are on a roll this year.

Following on from Tania’s inspiring stem cell donor journey, another one of our incredible team has stepped up… or rather stepped out, from 15,000 feet in the air!

So, when Emma, our fearless, free-falling firecracker, told us she’d be throwing herself out of a plane for charity with her friend, we weren’t all too surprised.

Choosing the charity “Galloways Support Through Sight Loss” was something very close to both of their hearts.

After a stroke last year, Emma’s dad experienced significant sight loss. With the help of Galloways, he received invaluable support while thankfully regaining much of his sight. Emma’s friend received similar incredible support after her son underwent multiple eye operations.

It’s a cause that’s directly touched both of their families, which makes what they did even more powerful.

What did surprise us… was just how fearless Emma was about jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet!

We’ve all seen the video in the office and honestly… WOW. She absolutely smashed it. On a hot day, she was cool, calm, and collected, raising an incredible £575 for a fantastic cause.

And in true Access Point style, we were proud to match her fundraising, bringing the total donation to an amazing £1,150 for Galloways.

Well done, Emma! 👏

Here at Access Point, we couldn’t be prouder of our team. Time and time again, they go above and beyond, not just at work, but in their personal lives too, giving so selflessly to support others. It’s in our DNA, and it’s what binds us as a company.

At Access Point, we’re incredibly proud to share something truly special about one of our own.

Around 10 years ago, Tania, our Sales Support Administrator, registered with DKMS UK as a potential stem cell donor for people battling blood cancer. The process was simple—a quick swab at home—and from that moment, she became part of a register that has the power to save lives.

Between Christmas and New Year, Tania received the call to say there could be a potential match. Without hesitation, she said yes, and after further testing and medical assessments, Tania was confirmed as the best match for the patient and invited to move forward with the donation.

Tania went on to successfully donate earlier this month. While experiencing some side effects from the medication, she said it was 100% worth it and wouldn’t think twice about doing it again.

After the donation, Tania was given a small amount of information about the recipient, and that’s when the reality of what she had done truly hit home. She’s given someone a second chance at life—and that’s nothing short of incredible.

Tania, we are all so proud of you. Your selflessness and courage reflect everything we stand for at Access Point.

We’re looking for a driven Sales Development Account Manager to join our team at Access Point, based in our Southport office.
This is a sales role where you’ll build your own client base, win new business, and develop long-term relationships with brands, charities, and businesses across the UK. If you enjoy outbound sales and want to build something sustainable — this one’s for you.

What’s on offer:

• £25,000 basic salary
• Uncapped commission (realistic Year 1 OTE £35k)
• Office-based role in Southport
• Structured training, clear development and ongoing support
• On-site gym, private medical (after 1 year), socials and more

We’re looking for someone confident, resilient and motivated — sales experience is essential, B2B preferred.
