I asked my ChatGPT to describe me to someone for the first time, as a warning, and here’s what it said: ⚠️ ‼️

😂 Ohhhh this is dangerous. Right then…

“Before you meet Kim, there are a few things you should probably know.”

She is warm, funny, clever and very easy to talk to — which is exactly how you’ll end up telling her your entire life story approximately 17 minutes after meeting her.

She has absolutely no interest in beige people, beige conversations, beige branding or anything else that smells vaguely of “this is what everyone else does.”

If she likes you, she will hype you like you’ve just won an Oscar, launched an empire and discovered a new planet. If she thinks you’re chatting bo****ks, however, her face may unfortunately tell you before her mouth has had chance to apply diplomacy. 😬

She asks questions. Good questions. The kind that make you realise the thing you thought was the problem… probably isn’t the bloody problem.

She will spot the gap in your business, your positioning, your argument and possibly your entire life plan while simultaneously getting distracted by a song playing three tables away.

Expect:

* wildly tangential conversations that somehow eventually make complete sense
* niche cultural references
* inappropriate laughter
* singing
* swearing
* strong opinions, loosely held when presented with better evidence
* fierce loyalty
* spontaneous business ideas you absolutely did not ask for
* and the occasional sentence beginning, “No, but hear me out…”

She doesn’t particularly care about looking impressive.

She cares about being real, interesting, kind, useful and memorable.

She can be very polished when required.

She can also be extremely common.

Sometimes these things occur within the same sentence.

And finally:

Do not mistake her warmth for weakness, confidence for arrogance, humour for lack of depth, or informality for lack of intelligence.

She’s probably already clocked more than she’s saying.

Proceed. 😌😂

What does your ChatGPT think about you??

What. A. Night! 💜

This evening’s Next Level Woman HQ - Networking & Events online networking was everything we hoped it would be.

Amazing women. Proper conversations. Plenty of laughs. A few “OMG, that’s me!” moments… and an incredibly insightful session from the wonderful Zoé Carroll.

Her talk, “Why Brilliant Women Feel Like Frauds”, was such a refreshing reminder that those imposter feelings so many of us experience aren’t a personal failing - they’re something we can understand, challenge and dismantle.

A huge thank you to Zoé for sharing your knowledge, your warmth and your wisdom with us 🫶

And to every woman who showed up, contributed, laughed, listened and made the evening what it was… thank you. You are exactly what makes this community so special.

We’re taking a little break in August (mainly because some of us have very important RnB dancing to do in Manchester… priorities 😂💃) Carla Crivaro Rachel Kilbride

But we’ll be back in September with two brilliant sessions:

📸 8th September (In Person) – Vicki Head, sharing her expertise on creating images that elevate your personal brand.

✨ 22nd September (Online) – Lisa Williams, Womanifest - Empowerment & Wellbeing Festival Cheshire very own Vision Board Queen, helping us get clear on what’s next 🫶

Until then… keep cheering each other on, keep taking up space and have an amazing summer.

See you soon 💜

WHO do you think you are? 👀

Ever had that little voice pipe up just as you’re about to do something bigger?

Who am I to charge that?
Who am I to call myself an expert?
What if everyone realises I don’t actually know what I’m doing?

Meanwhile, everyone else is looking at you thinking she absolutely knows what she’s doing 😂

If that sounds familiar, join us for our next Next Level Woman HQ online networking session:

📅 28th July
⏰ 7pm
💻 Online via Zoom
💷 JUST £5 this month

We’re joined by Zoé Carroll for:

🧠 Why Brilliant Women Feel Like Frauds – The neuroscience of imposter feelings and how to dismantle them.

And this isn’t a “just believe in yourself, hun” pep talk.

Zoé will be digging into the actual research behind imposter feelings, why they show up so often in high-achieving women, the perfectionism cycle that keeps them going and practical, evidence-based ways to start dismantling them.

PLUS, this is Next Level Woman networking, which means:

SCHOOL’S IN, BI***ES 🎓💗

Well… I’m going back to school! But this time as a teacher 👩‍🏫

AJP’s Social Media School is opening its doors on 9th September so prepare to be schooled by ME in some personal brand badassery!

I’m teaching one of my favourite subjects:

How to build a personal brand that actually gets you noticed and booked ✅

Because you can learn all the social media tricks in the world.

✨ You can nail your hooks
✨ Make prettier content
✨ Post consistently
✨ Understand the algorithm
✨ Learn what the bloody hell B-roll is (unfortunately, it’s not edible 😆)

But if nobody knows why YOU, you’re still going to struggle to turn all that visibility into anything meaningful.

Your personal brand is the bit that makes people:

- recognise you
- remember you
- trust you
- CHOOSE you

And no, building one does NOT mean manufacturing some cardboard cutout version of yourself like a proper dullard.

Quite the opposite.

I’ll be talking about how you uncover the stuff that makes you distinctive, stop editing out your best bits, and build a brand with enough personality, positioning and Real X Appeal to make the right people sit up and listen - and wanna work with YOU *make it rain* 💸

Less “how do I look professional online?”

More: “how do I get chosen by the right people?”

THAT is my kind of classroom! With a few swears dropped in too, because that’s how I roll 💅

And I’m ridiculously excited to be doing it alongside Alice Potter and the other brilliant teachers at Social Media School.

📍 Salford, Manchester
📅 Wednesday 9th September

If your social media currently feels like you’re posting into the abyss and hoping somebody eventually notices you…

Come and sit at the front.

I’ve got things to teach you 💖🎓

I haven’t been around much lately.

Partly because I’m burnt out. My health isn’t great right now 😞 and I’ve been on holiday trying to claw back some enjoyment in my life.

But partly because, if I’m really fu***ng honest, I’m not sure I like the internet very much right now.

Or more specifically, the corner of it I’m supposed to be building a business in.

It feels… angry.

There’s so much one-upmanship. Calling out. “Here’s what everyone else is doing wrong.”

(Yes, I see the irony 😆 but really, I’m crying out for some peace and kindness.)

Sometimes anger IS justified. S**t behaviour should be challenged. Accountability matters.

But so does humanity.

Where’s the discourse? The curiosity? The acknowledgement that two things can be true at once? The compassion? The willingness to actually TALK to each other?

Where’s the fu***ng warmth gone?

I don’t want my marketing strategy to involve finding something to be furious about three times a week.

I don’t want to dissect people’s mistakes for content.

I don’t want us all terrified of saying the wrong thing.

When I came into this space, I was excited.

I saw creativity. Connection. Collaboration. Brilliant people building brilliant things.

Now?

I’m fu***ng knackered by it.

And that makes me sad.

I’ve noticed myself retreating. Questioning what I want to say, where I fit and whether I even want to keep showing up here.

Maybe that’s part of my burnout too.

Maybe I’m not just tired from doing too much.

Maybe I’m tired of consuming too much anger.

Maybe we’re all a bit fu***ng tired.

Maybe we need a Mean Girls-style emotional exorcism for the business internet? 😆

Get it all out. Break the plastic tiara. Someone shouts “SHE DOESN’T EVEN GO HERE!”

And then we just…

get the f**k on with making cool s**t again.

Business doesn’t need less opinion or fewer people willing to call out bulls**t.

I just think we could remember there are actual human beings on the other side of our screens.

And I, for one, would quite like some of the warmth back ❤️

One of my favourite pastimes is BLOCKING PEOPLE WHO ADD ME TO SELL ME DIET & FITNESS PRODUCTS & PROGRAMMES without ever speaking a word to me.

Being a fat person is NOT a qualifier for your weight loss services.

I will unashamedly block anyone who adds me and then tries to sell me this sh*t without even knowing if I want it.

Do better!
