There are largely three things that help keep us productive throughout the week; ambition, coffee (lol) and PLANNING.
We can’t stress enough how important it is to be planning your weeks content the week prior. It allows you to be organised and stops you from needing to worry about it for the entirety of your week. It also creates a regular posting schedule which is SUPER important. Here are a few things that make content planning that little bit easier:

💙1. Research your HASHTAGS: Keep your hashtags up-to-date and relatable. Is there an important event this week? If so, have a look at the popular hashtags surrounding the event; which are going to work for you? Pop them in at the bottom of your post and voila. You can schedule your posts AND captions using Later.

💚2. Similarly to your hashtags, research your THEME. It may sound silly, but is it the final of GBBO? Is it Halloween? Or is it Christmas? If so, keep it festive and keep your content relevant. Work the weeks theme into most if not all your posts… however subtle.

💙3. This leads us on to INFLUENCERS. If your content is relevant, then you should be following relevant influencers, and if your content and following list compliment eachother… PERFECT. Tag them/ mention them in the compliments.

💚4. QUOTES are so good for your feed, not only are they great fillers for when your content is a little sparce, but more often than not, they are super relatable and shared easily amongst your audience.

📸Good vs Bad photo: I think it’s pretty obvious, even to the untrained eye, to see which image is most aesthetically pleasing to possible customers. A good photo makes the product look more attractive, and although this may make us shallow, we as humans beans (hehe) are more inclined to buy a product if it looks nice.

🎨Colour Scheme: Sometimes we forget how much of an impact colours have on our feed. Think largely about your colour palette as the “brand” of your Instagram feed. Your colour scheme is the visual identity of your feed. Use Apps such as Preview to make sure your colour scheme is evident and attractive.

⌛Short Captions: Later data shows that posts with longer captions generally had a higher engagement rate than those with shorter captions – the more you share, the better engagement!
