Boring intros are killing your videos.

When you make a reel for instagram or Facebook you don't need to say "HI" or "hope you're well" etc..... it's boring and people swipe away before you have even had chance to tell them anything.

Instead think of a Hook, an attention grabbing sentence to make them stop and watch. we don't want to see a graph that drops off in the first 3 seconds.

Get to the good bit.

It's boring, people swipe away and they haven't even heard what you've said. So skip the Introduction and get to the point with a hook to make them stick around

This is a sentence I hear all the time, you started a business and you know social media is important but you hate doing it. Thats were a social media manager comes in, creating posts on your behalf and taking it out of your day so you can focus on the business.

Social media is a powerful tool but if you don't post regularly it won't work.

Vlogging is a great way of showing your audience who is behind the camera, these 2 videos are from Vlogs I created on my content creator page Pale and interesting Nottinghamshire & Beyond.

Although they are great views it's worth mentioning that these views come from active pages, post regularly and teach Facebook that you show up and keep your audience on the platform and you will achieve the same.

Inconsistent posting

When I first starting my content page Pale and interesting Nottinghamshire & Beyond, I would receive no more than 2-300 views, but as I posted every day after 4-6 weeks I got this video... 259k Views.

Facebook needs to build trust in you, if you dont post consistently each week it's not going to show anyone your post. If you miss a month, you'll have to build that trust again.

Yes some of your followers do see the reels (videos) that you post, however they are mainly show to non followers.

This video was made for Last night I dreamt, it was posted on my content creation page Pale and interesting Nottinghamshire & Beyond and was served mainly non followers. Reels are an opportunity to gain followers and show them what you offer.

Try not to speak on you reels like people know who you are, mostly they do not and its your chance to sell your self.

I always recommend for you to use a combination of photos and reels on your page, I took this images at One Westgate by The Refectory, Southwell, its shows an idealistic image. Sipping coffee in a beautiful surrounding.

People see that situation and it makes them stop to find out where it was so they can enjoy a moment like this too.

Saves are better than views..

This video was made for Love and Piste, as you can see the views on Facebook are much higher, however the saves on Instagram far exceed Facebook.

When you post a video advertising a business, especially an actual store you are looking for saves.... this means that people plan to visit you at some point.
