Hope your Easter is bright and beautiful and that you are enjoying a wonderful long weekend.

I would love to say that I am feeling fresh as a daisy today but I am a little weary after we welcomed a new dog into our home yesterday and saw 3am this morning as she tries to settle 😴

It's an exciting new chapter for our family though and she is very cute. Check out my stories to meet our new pooch!

Running out of content ideas for your socials? Staring at a blank screen and wondering what to post?

Here are a few ideas:

⭐️Introduce yourself – Don’t forget to introduce yourself when you set up your account and then re-introduce yourself regularly (every 4-6 weeks is good to aim for). Your new followers will see what your business is all about and will feel welcomed. 🤗

⭐️Share a testimonial or review- if you’ve received a glowing review from a customer, don’t be shy and share it! You could take a screenshot or create a simple graphic in a tool like Canva

⭐️Go behind the scenes – we all love to find out more about the people behind the business. You can still keep your personal life private but little snippets about the day to day in your business life can help to awaken your brand. Instagram and Facebook stories are perfect for this.

⭐️Record some video– Short form videos are an ideal way of engaging your audience. Reels have become a popular feature on Instagram and have been recently introduced to Facebook too. Grab your phone and record a quick tour to showcase your business, products or location. You can add music, voiceover, stickers and captions. Don’t over-think it and give it a try!

⭐️Share your top tips – you are the expert in your business and have lots of knowledge to share🤩. A few top tips will no doubt be valuable for your followers.

🏖Celebrating English Tourism Week.🏖

A national celebration of tourism has been taking place over the last week, showcasing and supporting English tourism, particularly as the industry continues to recover from the effects of the pandemic.

It was never my plan to live in a tourist destination, let alone work in tourism, but when I discovered the Suffolk Coast, it just felt right. I have lived in the charming seaside town of Southwold for nearly 10 years and have never looked back.

I developed my career in marketing in the holiday lettings industry and now run my own business, focusing on social media and marketing for holiday homes and small local businesses where tourism plays an important role.
