Inner Journey
A better look at my art piece ‘Inner Journey’.
Inspired by the late and great , this piece metaphorically represents the inner world we enter in the psychedelic state. An inner world inhabited by others, and of course yourself. The all seeing eye of your perceptual experience - the ‘I’ within all of ‘us’.
Unbound from normal perception, judgement and separation - and immersed in a heightened awareness, where connection becomes apparent. Connection to the natural world, to each other, to your actions, attitudes and ideas - all are connected, and all feed your awareness.
In this state we ‘see’ in a new way, we gain a new perspective. This is enriching to the soul, the psyche, the human condition! This is why psychedelic plants were known as plant medicines for thousands of years, before our dogmatic, colonial ‘leaders’ took them from us all.
In the words of the late and great Terrence McKenna - “don’t follow gurus, follow plants’ 💚👌
By the way - no Ai was used in the creation of this art or caption 🙏
