THE SELF EMPLOYED CHRISTMAS DO

This December, Elevate opens its doors for one Christmas night dedicated to the self employed.

An evening of good music, drinks and a beautifully dressed studio — with a DJ playing throughout the night and a beer or glass of Prosecco waiting on arrival.

Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks, with Albion Ale House Micropub next door for anything extra throughout the evening.

Elevate After Dark x The Girls Club event 💕🪩

We had some absolutely incredible women come through the doors at Elevate, all with completely different businesses, backgrounds and stories, and it was just so nice hearing where everyone had come from, what they’re building and what they’ve had to push through to get where they are now.

But I really need to give Jessica her own mention because I'm honestly so proud of her.

She spoke about The Girls Club, how it started, why she created it and where it is today, and when you actually sit and listen to everything she has done it’s mad.

She hasn’t just created a little local group. She has built something that is genuinely helping women. She gives up so much of her own time every single week to support people, create safe spaces, organise events, put herself out there, have difficult conversations and keep pushing women’s mental health into places where it actually needs to be spoken about.

What started in Wigan is now growing way beyond Wigan, including most recently opening a Girls Club in the Peak District, and I honestly don’t know many people who are giving this much of themselves to something that helps other people.

She’s also just launched her own clothing brand, The Girls Club Edit, which is such a perfect extension of everything she’s created. It’s so her, so on brand and just another example of how much she’s building around this whole community.

I’m genuinely so proud of the woman she is and everything she’s creating. She deserves every bit of recognition that comes her way.

As for Elevate After Dark, this is literally only the beginning.

I’ve got loads more planned around networking, bringing amazing people together!

Thank you so much to every single woman who came last night. You made the first one so so special 🤍

There’s parking on Quakers Place (behind the old Spar) or you can park on the Spar car park.

🥂 And yes… there WILL be booze 😂
A few of you have messaged me asking and the answer is absolutely YES! So if you fancy having a few with us tonight, obviously we recommend not driving 🤣

As mentioned we've also got Albion Ale House Micropub next door, so you're welcome to grab drinks from there and bring them into Elevate.

We’ll be taking professional photos throughout the evening, so if you’d like some nice content while you’re here, bring whatever you’d usually wear for work/business. If you want to bring a spare outfit to change into, you’re more than welcome!

But MOST importantly… please don’t come feeling nervous or thinking it’s going to be some awkward, formal networking event 😅

It’s genuinely just a lovely, relaxed evening for a group of women to get together, have a drink, have a laugh, chat about business/life and hopefully leave with some new friends and connections. 🤍

Absolutely buzzing to have Jordan Turner & Positive Role Model using Elevate 🎙️

Jordan recently sat down with Jacques O’Neill for the PRM podcast and I just think it’s so bloody cool seeing the kind of people and projects that are starting to come through the studio!!

I only opened Elevate a few months ago and genuinely had no idea where it was going to go, so seeing things like this happening already is such a proud little moment 🥹

I’ve put so much into creating the perfect studio and I really wanted it to become somewhere people could create amazing content, have proper conversations and just bring their ideas to life.

We’ve got even more exciting people heading into the studio over the next few weeks too… keep your eyes peeled!! 👀🎙️🤍
