Hi All

Just a little bit of market research...

I am after some honest advice from parents of homeschooled students. I have been a tutor in English and Maths for the last six years both inside and outside of public schools (9 years on and off) and during these years have seen a huge increase in the number of students being homeschooled.

My question is, if I were to set up a part-time online 'school' where I taught core subjects over 4/5 lessons a week in a lecture style, with the possibility for students to directly contact me as a teacher and marking of assignments, is this something people would be interested in?

I was looking at offering the service on a monthly rolling basis (opposed to termly/annual fees).

I currently do something similar for a school as extra tuition, but was wondering if it would be worth setting up for a wider group to help out with home educators.

To all my current students, if you are going ahead with one to one online sessions, please download the software 'zoom' https://zoom.us to your devices. Alternatively, if you have an apple device, I can offer sessions through FaceTime.

If you are a parent that would like any online tuition sessions for yourself or your child, either as a one off or a regular slot, please do get in touch.

Alternatively, I am looking into offering topic specific webinars at the significantly reduced rate of £5 for 40 minutes including:
