JV is closing 💛

After 4 amazing years of running a digital marketing business, we have decided it is the right time to step back and explore new opportunities.

Vic is expecting a baby and Jo is excited to pursue a full time career in photography. We are really looking forward to seeing what the future holds.

A huge thank you to everyone who has believed in us, supported us and worked with us, we have truly enjoyed it all!

Do your photos & videos lose quality when you share them? 🤔

Here's our advice on the best ways to share content with other people whilst maintaining the original quality...

1. WhatsApp - this is generally fine and convenient for sharing photos taken on your phone, however it significantly compresses video quality and we would not recommend sending videos this way. Even though there is an option to send videos in HD, these will still be much smaller than the original file size.

2. WeTransfer - an excellent platform for sending photos and videos via a download link. It is a little more effort to send things this way if they are taken on your phone and tends to be used to send higher quality professional content, but that's not to say you can't send phone content this way.

3. Google Drive - this is a versatile platform with the potential for great organisation. Folders can be shared between different people and accessed by everyone via your computer and through an app on your phone. Everyone would need to have a free Google account to make use of this.

4. iPhone shared album - this is a very convenient way to share both photos and videos between iPhone users whilst maintaining the quality. It is very easy to add to and access shared albums.

Starting off the year with some happy news! 🥰

After being scarce for years, grey seal colonies along England's East coast are flourishing!

Orford Ness in Suffolk and Horsey in Norfolk are two of the beaches teeming with seal pups this year. Horsey beach saw 1200 seal pups born by Christmas day. At Orford Ness, 600 pups have been born, which is brilliant news.

Matt Wilson, a countryside manager for England’s National Heritage Trust, says that possible causes of the rise in seals include the presence of offshore wind farms as well as cleaner water resulting from reductions in pollution along non-tourist beaches observed in the last 10 years.
