The rationale was straightforward: select a name that aligns with common search terms to enhance discoverability. π
Google evaluates numerous ranking factors, with the primary ones being relevance, distance, and prominence. π
While this outdated method may still yield limited success, it often compromises the brand's distinctiveness. Recommending such a restaurant to a friend poses challenges, as Google may interpret the search as a generic query for a "Thai restaurant near me" rather than a specific brand search. π€·ββοΈ
