Track my trials and tribulations as I start out and become a hardened two wheel commuter.

A lovely bank holiday ride out. Just a solo ride, no commitments, no ties, just freedom to ride North into the Highlands for as long as I pleased. Flying through the glens, over the mountains, the sun beating down, the wind blowing, hopping past all the tourist traffic, and dancing through the twists and turns.

Savoured the beautiful Glencoe, then back down the coast to Oban to grab the daily catch from the famous Seafood hut. Yummy oysters and mussels, so much tasty seafood on offer, highly recommended.

The Fazer is still going strong, still a delight to fling through the bends.

What else are sunny Sunday's for but to dance along gorgeous countryside on one's motorbike? Just me and my motorbike, dancing by myself, skipping through the bends, tango'ing through the glens, and two-stepping around the twisties. Four wheels may move the body, but two wheels moves the heart.

Care not for tomorrow, for today there is fun to had. Find out who you are and do it on purpose.

A much needed evening ride after work, a quick blitz around Loch Tay and the stunning pass of Amulree. Sometimes you just need to f**k everything off and ride. Fly through the mountains glens, snake alongside the Lochs and through the forests, over the heather laden passes and put everything out of mind.

Why is there so much hate in this world? Why are there so many toxic t***s hell bent on causing anguish to decent folks? Why do so many bystanders fall for the lies and bu****it? How many more will be hurt before karma catches up?

Life may throw a lot of s**t at you, but there is still plenty to be grateful for. Living here in Scotland, I'm blessed to have such beauty on my doorstep. With spring, everything is coming into bloom, a fresh start after the dark winter, one can't help but to get out and appreciate it all. Be it on bike or on foot, one can't help feel an injection of positivity. Things can only get better.

A lovely afternoon blast on the bikes and good blether with an old mate. What more could you want?

Can't go wrong with the Dukes Pass and a zoom out to Inversnaid, great to shake off the winter cobwebs. Much needed after far too much wet weather and having to deal with far too much s**te from some folks recently.

The Fazer is still going strong, bullet proof as always, even if nearly 20 years old. Little chance of an upgrade this year, will have to see what financial situation I'm left with next year. 😕

A beautiful brisk morning here in Stirling. I never fail to be amazed by the beauty of Scotland, so glad to now call this place home. Such a great place to go biking any time of year, so long as you have enough layers and the right gear!

A quick morning brunch run to catch up with mates, and have a blether over coffee.

Sorted out some replacement storage for all my motorcycle gear. The old wardrobe went AWOL and we can't talk about that here... However I found this perfect replacement on Freecycle, you can't beat free for a bargain price!

Holds all my gear just grand and its a perfect place for all them stickers I've amassed. Though there's definitely space for more. So, if any of you biker brands, bloggers, youtubers, influencers, etc fancy sending some stickers, I will gladly add them and give you a shout out on my social channels here.

Weather has been cold and damp, so I had an afternoon tinkering. Fitted a couple of useful accessories to the Fazer:

First, new Oxford Hot Grips to replace my old knackered ones. Definitely need them this time of year. Especially as my Gerbing heated gloves seemed to have walked off. 😠 An easy install, with remove the old grips and glue taking the most time.

Second, I've now jumped ship and switched to a Quad Lock mount to use my phone for sat nav. The old Garmin Zumo mount was always terrible for losing connection and turning itself off. And yes, it went AWOL as well, leaving me stuck. 😠 My phone works so much better and I always liked the MyRouteApp too.

Booked a cheeky midweek day off work up head out on bikes with my Uncle. Took off up to Glenshee ski centre for some tasty food (I love their venison burgers). Some epic roads via Dunning, Crieff, Aberfeldy and Pitlochory. Just what I needed to clear my head of stress after a week of drama. 😥 Motorcycle therapy definitely works, does wonders for your mental health.

Hey now, hey now now, sing This Corrosion to me
I got nothing to say I ain't said before
I bled all I can, I won't bleed no more
I don't need no one to understand
Why the blood run hold
The hired hand
On heart
Hand of God
Floodland and Driven Apart
Run cold
Turn
Cold
Burn
