Stirling PR Stirling based PR consultancy, specialising in SMEs, social enterprises and charities. If you are interested in working together send me a message.

Hello, my name is Lesley Wilkinson and I have over 20 years' experience working for and with the media. I started my career as a print and radio journalist before working for the University of Stirling as their Head of Communications. I branched out on my own in 2014 to set up Stirling based PR consultancy Stirling PR. My background has given me a sound understanding of how the media works and how

to find and tell a good story. I specialise in offering communications support to small to medium enterprises and charities in the central belt. My clients include Scene Stirling, Forth Environment Link, Forth Valley Food and Drink, Bannockburn House, Helicopter Glamping at Mains Farm Wigwams and Artlink Central. I’ve worked on various successful PR campaigns, from featuring the transformation of a former Royal Navy Seaking helicopter into a holiday home on Amazing Spaces to the launch of the UK’s most successful online farmer’s market, Stirling Food Assembly.

Following the global success of Baby Reindeer, Richard Gadd underwent a dramatic physical transformation for the role of Ruben – supported by sports therapist and personal trainer David Jenkins from Doune.

It's a fascinating insight into the months of training, discipline and recovery that happen behind the scenes, and a reminder of the many specialists helping Scotland's thriving film and TV industry bring stories to the screen.

Sad to hear of the passing of pioneering wildlife cameraman Doug Allan, whose work on series like Blue Planet inspired so many. It’s been 16 years since I had the privilege of interviewing him for the University of Stirling’s alumni magazine, yet his passion, curiosity and bravery have stayed with me. I often share his story when encouraging young people to pursue their passions; he was the ultimate reminder to follow your dreams. What an extraordinary life and legacy. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
