Every month, Ann and Orlando choose something they've not had time to look at yet, go learn as much as possible about it and then we all catch up and they teach me about the new area they've explored.

This month's spotlights were Procurement and .notebook

This really is one of my favourite things that I get to do with my team. Not only do I get to give them the time and space to explore areas of Zoho or beyond that are interesting and inspiring to them, I get to learn all about them too and we get to spend a good few hours each month talking and brainstorming new ideas.

Next month I'll try and remember to sneak you into the catch up itself!

Throwback to a great morning spent with our wonderful friends and clients over at the Growth Company yesterday!

It reminded me again why we do what we do, the way we do it!

Creating a successful software solution isn’t just about what software you have and what it can do. It’s sooooo much more than that!

Getting to go and chat with clients about their big goals, the high-level stuff, and the behind-the-scenes stuff means that we can help them truly create an all-round solution that fits not only what the team needs every day, but also fits with where the business is going and support everything it’s working to achieve.

This is exactly what we got to kick off yesterday, and let this be your reminder that even if you’ve had your Zoho solution for years (and years and years!) now is always a good time to take a step back and make it even better!

Time for this weeks Meet the Team!

And we're ending with our longest-standing JCM team member, our Chief Consultant, Dom.

Dom has been with JCM since 2013, and was our first non-Moran-family team member!

Dom has a very "calm in the storm" vibe and you know that when you're working with him, you're in safe hands.

But, of course, it's never enough to just work with JCM, like Simon and Ange, Dom is a business owner in his own right and is the founder of Dataholics, an app building team tackling all things data enrichment created to answer the needs of the CRM community!

That's not all!

Dom is also a bestselling author! (I know right?!)

It's another new week and you know what that means! It's time for another Meet the Team!

This week, say hello to our very own tech wizard, Simon!

Yes, if you need your data to go from chaotic mess to seamless report or you need "this" system to talk to "that" system, Simon is your guy.

Having been the beneficiary of Simon's tech skills and peeked behind the curtain of his coding wizardry, I can confirm that, yes, he does have access to the Matrix.

But rest assured, if you're ever working with Simon, you'll get allllll that knowledge wrapped in a super friendly, patient and supportive package! There's nothing Simon loves more than taking a complex requirement, crafting a simple solution and seeing the impact it has on the day to day running of our clients lives.

It's time for another in our Meet the Team Series and this week I'm so happy to introduce you to Orlando!

Hailing from Baja, Mexico, Orlando is one of our amazing Software Consultants, heading up all things Marketing in Zoho.

If you've worked with us before here at JCM, you might also recognise Orlando from the JCM Helpdesk, where they manage and support all our wonderful clients with their software queries.

Deeply curious and always down for trying something new, and a passion for solving problems, Orlando brings such a fresh set of eyes to everything we do at JCM and you can bet that if there is something new to obscure within Zoho, Orlando has already dived deep into it!

Another new week means another intro in our Meet the Team Series!

This week is the turn of Ann, the newest member of the JCM team! (Though saying "newest", Ann has been with us for 2 years already!)

Ann is one of our amazing Software Consultants, specialising in Zoho's Finance Suite after working as part of the Zoho Finance Suite team at Zoho itself!

We love Ann for her curiosity, ability to deep dive and research anything you give her and her smile that fills up any room (or screen!) she's in!

If you've ever worked with Ann, you know that she's passoinate about making sure the client is getting the exact solution they need and is a fountain of new ideas for continuously improving how we do things here at JCM.

Next up in our Meet The Team Series is the wonderful Angela!

Ange is our Project Administrator, one of Sara's closest friends and maybe the smiliest person in the whole of Stockport?!

Angela is THE person who makes sure every meeting gets booked, every phone call answered, every note completed and every project is up-to-date.

In short, Ange keeps the JCM ship sailing smoothly!

In addition to her supreme Admin skills, Ange is also an incredible business owner in her own right, running Kitch Republic, the most creative and fun place to get your homeware and gifts. (There's a link in the bio. Go and check in out now!).

Ange has the biggest heart, she can't walk past an animal or person in need without offering a helping hand (Did you know there is a pigeon help line that you can phone if you come across a pigeon in need of rescuing?!).

We can't talk about the JCM team without talking about the person who started it all, Chris!

Known to me and Sara as Dad (and Grandad to his 6 grandkids!), Chris started JCM in 2010 with a desire to create a business that prioritised and looked after its people, after coming from a world that took him away from his family and at one point even sent him to the hospital.

If you've ever met my Dad, you know he's the friendliest guy with so many passions in life, one of which is giving back to his community and looking after those around him.

JCM couldn't have had a better start in life with him at the helm for the past 15 years!

After retiring last year (woohoo!) Chris is now fully in his Grandad era and spends most of his time when not with grandkids, in hte mountains of Wales or painting the mountains of Wales!

Of course, we couldn't let him and his 40 years of invaluabl experience escape completely so Chris still acts as our Chairman and strategic advisor.

Hello!

I'm Elle and I'm the one you hear from all the time if you're reading this post.

I'm the Commercial Director here at JCM and I've been with the business since 2013, ever since I started helping my Dad out while he was running JCM from the tiniest room at home.

I've lived and breathed the JCM story, almost since the beginning, and I love the fact that we've been able to grow to a team of 10 and still keep that family-run vibe.

Since Dad's retirement last year, together with my sister Sara (you can see her post from last week!), we're excited to take JCM into a whole new era!

What an evening!

We had such a great time at Stockport Rocks, an award evening celebrating all the incredible volunteers in our local community.

We had the privilege of sponsoring the Young Volunteer of the Year Award and got to present the winners with their award on stage 🥳

A huge well done to Clare Finch and the team at Sector 3 Stockport for an incredible event and an even bigger well done to all the amazing nominees and winners!
