If you hired me to work on your social media tomorrow, I wouldn’t immediately start planning 30 posts.
I’d want to understand your business first.
Because a content calendar without strategy is simply an organised collection of posts.
Before deciding WHAT to post, I want to know:
→ What are we trying to achieve?
→ Who are we trying to reach?
→ What does that person currently believe?
→ What objections are stopping them from buying?
→ What makes this brand different?
→ What action do we want them to take?
Then we create the content.
That’s why I see social media management as much more than posting, scheduling and replying to comments.
The strategy comes first.
The content communicates the strategy.
And the data tells us what to do next.
