[Message 3 of 3] Goals for 2021:

I hope you got chance to read my previous messages - [Message 1 of 3] Time for Reflection and [Message 2 of 3] Lessons Learnt.

What is in store for us in 2021?

What are your goals for 2021?

New Year, New you!?

What have you decided?

I hear a lot of people say "can't wait for things to get back to normal". I would be very surprised if we do get back to "normal". We will definitely get back to a "normal" but it will be the "new normal", but Business, and people in general, cannot wait for things to "get back to any normal".

Find the positives (never dwell on the negatives).

Control and focus on what you can control and not what you can't.

Establish your goals for 2021 and determine the Objectives, strategies and tactics required to achieve your goals.

Taking the reflections and lessons learnt into consideration, review your goals, objectives, strategies and tactics and determine any risks or issues that would impact achieving your goals.

Improve your goals, objectives, strategies and tactics until all risks and issues are resolved and you have a robust set of goals for 2021.

Get ready to implement and take massive action.

In the words of Albert Einstein: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"

Doing nothing is not an option.

Just remember, a Dream written down with a milestone becomes a Goal. A Goal broken down to steps is a Plan and a Plan backed up with Action makes your Dreams come true!

To your success in 2021!

[Message 2 of 3] Lessons Learnt:

I hope you got chance to read my previous message - [Message 1 of 3] Time for Reflection.

Now a look at the lessons learnt from 2020.

What the pandemic did force was things like:
(1) Working from home
(2) Remote Meetings (use of Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
(3) Online Shopping
- Internet Shopping (including home and food shopping and delivery).

This has resulted in:
(1) Business overhead re-think - required use of office space
(2) Business overhead re-think - need for function rooms
(3) An explosion in online shopping - death of the high street
- although it was known that the high street was dying a few more nails definitely were
hammered into that coffin
- Business owners moving their offline business online.

If 2020 taught us anything it was that people need multiple streams of income to survive and thrive.
The days of having a secure day job are over. Many people already have secondary incomes with the help of the internet.

Amazon, eBay and Shopify have thrived during 2020 as many people found the power of online shopping, not only purchasing online but, more importantly, having an online income stream to supplement their main income.

Before the pandemic a lot of businesses were "too comfortable" to consider moving online (myself included).

People need to minimise any impact of this pandemic and be prepared if anything like it happens in the future.

Look out for tomorrow's message - [Message 3 of 3] Goals for 2021.

[Message 1 of 3] Time for Reflection:

At this time between Christmas and New Year I always sit down to reflect on the year just gone and what I want for the year to come.

This year has definitely been different. Little did we know during the earlier part of the year what was in store for us but that all changed in the weeks leading up to the 23rd March 2020 (in the UK)!

For the first time in our lives we couldn't utter the words "I haven't got the time!". National Lockdown sorted that issue.

What did you do with this extra time?
(1) Watched the whole Netflix Catalogue
(2) Watched all 8 seasons of "Game of Thrones"
(3) Learned a new skill
(4) Pivoted your Business
(5) Lucky enough to be "Business as usual".

Money can buy most things but it can't buy time!

Many people did have the benefit of furlough.

Like myself, many entrepreneurs had to pivot and re-invent things - in the words of entrepreneur Jeff Hoffman: Re-purpose, Re-tool, Re-deploy.

Two of my daily habits are:
(1) Learn something new EVERY day
(2) Do something EVERY day that scares you (get yourself out of your comfort zone).

These habits definitely came to the fore this year!

Quote of 2020: "You're on mute!"

Look out for tomorrow's message - [Message 2 of 3] Lessons Learnt.

And remember... Bots don't buy - even the chatty ones! They don't have credit cards!!

22/12/2020

As I am wanting to end 2020 on a high with a hard push with my Affiliate Marketing advertising campaigns, I am receiving more negative messages telling me to "Wake up and smell the coffee" or asking me "if I live on the moon as we are in the middle of a pandemic and people have no money to buy books or courses".

I am very well aware of the pandemic and it is for that reason that I am alerting people to take control of their future and create multiple streams of income.

This year has shown that there is no such thing as the secure day job and anyone with a single income stream needs to take this Christmas holiday to discover other income streams.

Control what you can! Not what you can't!! Focus on what you can Control! Not what you can't!!

If this is not a light bulb moment you need to get your head out of the sand.

Before lockdown everyone complained that they didn't have time to do things. Lockdown gave these people the perfect opportunity to further themselves. Remember that the wealthiest and most intelligent entrepreneurs know that they cannot buy time (but they are resourceful with everything else).

For those people spreading the negativity I would tell them to "Wake up and smell the coffee" and take my advice - don't sit there and feel sorry for yourself and complain about the people who are trying to influence, help and support others, but have a look in the mirror and ask 'What can I do to make things different'?

May I also take this opportunity to thank the people who have liked and shared my ads.
