Showing up on camera doesnât come naturally to most people.
And expecting yourself to jump straight into talking to camera and feeling confident is unrealistic.
Confidence is built in layers, not overnight.
Start small.
đž Add voiceovers to your reels so your audience hears your voice.
đž Post selfies on your stories.
đž Film behind the scenes moments while youâre working.
đž Get used to seeing yourself on camera without the pressure of âperformingâ.
Then move into talking on stories.
âïž You can delete it.
And worst case? It disappears in 24 hours anyway.
From there, talking on reels feels far less intimidating, because your audience already knows you.
A few simple tips to help:
đ„ Donât overthink it
đ„ Use a script or prompts if you need guidance
đ„ Smile when you talk (it changes everything)
đ„ Treat it like youâre FaceTiming a friend, not presenting
Your audience doesnât need perfection.
They need connection.
And the more they see you, hear you and feel your energy, the easier it becomes for them to trust you, buy from you and learn from you.
