Many new parents don't know this however in Newborn Photography it's actually rare that a newborn baby is physically beside their furry brother/sister. During those first few weeks of coming home with baby a dog's environment has completely changed. Life as they knew it has spiralled in a moment. They have plenty of new smells to get adjusted to 🤣

Introducing Little Baby Cillian at 9 days new🥰
Where do I begin with this adorable little cherub and devoting family? The room was filled with an abundance of devotion, love and happiness as soon as they all entered the room. Cillian was a super star sailing through his photoshoot but we all kept chatting towards the end sitting on the sofa sharing stories. Stories of how Mummy and Daddy met.. and you may be reading this wondering, why?
You see Cillian's photoshoot wasn’t just a special day because it was his first photoshoot. No no. It was a special day because it was also mummy and daddy’s one year wedding anniversary 🥹 So the session got personalised even more than usual to ensure the wonderful anniversary was celebrated in portraits to cherish. Incorporating mummy and daddy’s hands and the beautiful engagement and wedding rings. If you look closely you can see Cillian's tiny fingers holding them.
That is why l love my job. This is why I adore Newborn Photoshoots, to capture all that makes them newborns, those wrinkles and rolls, eyelashes, finger nails, hair, button nose, ears and squidgy lips, all the things you so easily forget as they grow. But also to create portraits that mean even more specifically to your family. After all, you replace the pram, you throw away the toys and you part with the clothes, but photographs are the one thing that will remain. They're only this small once, a time that can never be replaced.
