Kinda chic to be late to the 'kinda chic' party..

Spent Saturday morning with a new client setting up her new podcast studio.
She's got a great space on the top floor of her office, bought some great lighting and mics, and a couple of really comfy podcast chairs, chosen with hard arm rests to clamp the mic arm onto!!

There's a few more bits to do but it's all taking shape and it's safe to say we are both really excited to get the show on the road!

I reposted something the other day about the value of sharing audio only podcasts on youtube!

You may not think that it's worth it but Youtube is the 2nd largest search engine in the world, owned by Alphabet who also owns the biggest search engine, Google of course.

Now is the time to start sharing your podcast to Youtube, even if it is audio only!

This screenshot shows results from the first 6 weeks of sharing a relatively new podcast for a client of mine (episodes 1-8).

Last week I created an online portal and checklist for a new podcast client who is launching a podcast from scratch.

Yes, there was a lot on the checklist,

It included:
- Equipment and environment
- Software and accounts
- Podcast prep
- Episode prep
- Launch prep

Within each of these sections was a checklist of everything required, from the type of microphone, creating cover art, where to find podcast music and more

But... I love a list, and although it looks daunting, getting them all ticked off is so satisfying!
