We were incredibly proud to see our very own Lowri spending Saturday judging the South Wales Young Traders Competition 👏

Lowri, who runs the Swansea Market TikTok account, joined the judging panel for this year’s regional final organised by the National Market Traders Federation (NMTF), celebrating the next generation of market traders and entrepreneurs.

15 talented young traders aged 16–30 competed for a place in the NMTF Young Market Traders Final in Stratford-upon-Avon this August. From first-time market traders to young business owners already making waves, the competition showcased an amazing variety of creativity, passion and entrepreneurial spirit.

Traders competed across three categories, with a winner chosen per category

The overall winner was Bethany Coram from Coram Ceramics with her handmade pottery and creativity.

🛫 Belfast Bound

Jenny and Shannon made their way to Belfast this week to meet with our clients, Giraffe ATV, Giraffe Cars and JD Forktrucks.

Giraffe Group are specialists in forklifts, trucks, ATVs, and forklift truck supply, serving businesses across Belfast and Northern Ireland.

We've been busy supporting the team with targeted Google, Meta, and LinkedIn advertising campaigns; helping them achieve the best possible return on ad spend- reaching the right sectors for each product category.

It was great to catch up in person and a big thank you to the whole team for their hospitality!

🛶 Kayaking, Connection & Community 🎥

Yesterday, Matt and Emillie from our team visited the beautiful Neath Canal to capture content for our client, NPT Trailblazer.

NPT Trailblazer supports people who are currently out of education or employment by providing one-to-one support, alongside activities and events that help individuals build confidence, make friends, and create positive memories through new experiences.

As part of their 6-week Outdoor Pursuits programme, participants take part in a different outdoor activity each week; and this week we joined them for a kayaking session along the canal.

Throughout the day, Emillie captured footage and carried out vox pop interviews with both programme participants and team members, helping to showcase the real impact of the programme and the experiences of those involved.

St Brides Spa Hotel always pulls out all the stops for Swansea Bay Business Club events, and today’s May lunch was no exception.

It was great catching up with everyone, and Betsan Moses’ talk about Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru y Garreg Las really got the room looking ahead to August 1-8, when the Eisteddfod arrives in Pembrokeshire’s Llantood. Hearing first-hand about the real positive impact the Eisteddfod has on communities and local economies across Wales was incredible, and we’re very excited for what will be a brilliant week in Pembrokeshire, celebrating Welsh culture in all its glory. We had a great session with Jessica Harrington from Make the Change Consultancy today!

Jess walked the reTHINK team through the incredible range of support she offers businesses; from in-depth business diagnostics and strategic planning, to driving operational excellence, managing change effectively, and supporting businesses to scale sustainably. Each service is designed to help organisations build resilience, streamline processes, and unlock long-term growth.

What really stood out was the focus on looking inward; challenging how we currently operate and identifying opportunities to do things differently (and better). We loved taking that step back to reflect on our own ways of working and where we can evolve.
