Open New or More Doors by Sharing Your Knowledge, Skills, and Passion with People who May Not Even Know What You Have to Offer. Grow in Confidence, Willingness, and Ability to Present and Speak in Front of Others and See The Opportunities Open Up Before You. Imagine this...
Having the confidence to regularly share your knowledge, skills, experiences and passions in presentations, meetings, and tra

ining courses. Having the confidence that you will get that information over in the best possible way, and to feel comfortable that you are being YOU rather than wearing a mask! Imagine being able to empower others with your information, and to see the results that you or your organisation can gain from that. Enjoy knowing that those “nerves” are excitement turned inside out and is the adrenaline to both make you perform and confirm that you are achieving something more than just going through the motions. Change your mindset from deliberately "being a presenter", to having a conversation with your audience, and seeing the results for yourself. The COMMUNICATION SKILLS THAT REMOVE LIMITS programme will:
- Give you the confidence to say yes or put your hand up when asked to speak or present, whether for yourself or your organisation
- Provide greater Understanding, Management, and Utilisation of your nerves.
- Improve your Planning, Content/Script Creation, and Structure
- Establish an improved understanding of your strengths and how to play to them both verbally and physically.
- Maximise your interaction, reaction, and management of audiences.
- Create or grow your presence and communication skills in meetings, not just presentations.
- Help you see what possibilities could exist when you are recognised as a leader or expert in your field.
- Help you see that it is not just about the initial, potentially obvious and immediate doors that being seen and heard can open, but the unexpected ones that could lay beyond them once you break through.
- Improve the ‘soft skill’ of public speaking, to give your ‘key skills’ a voice! www.opendawestraining.co.uk

In this video, our founder, Chris Dawes, looks at ways that you can reduce, if not eliminate completely, the amount of umm's, err's or any other number of examples of stop words/phrases that can really detract from a great presentation or conversation if not careful...

WOW! Certainly is a busy close to this week! Several training discovery calls with individuals and organisations to start with. Then researching, scripting, and recording this week's sports preview report for BBC Radio Wiltshire's James Threlfall show, before then heading up to Birmingham for a couple of days for this year's SBS Winners event I get to be part of since being picked by Theo Paphitis and his team as a winner back in 2019.

Thursday and Friday nights are always great social get-togethers with fellow winners that I now get to call friends, and all day Friday will be a terrifically informative and entertaining conference! Not only Theo himself speaking and hosting the day, but numerous companies and individuals sharing valuable information, and the special guest for the "Fireside Chat" will be racing driver and successful businessman, Mark Blundell.

Always growing, and always enjoying the experiences!

Public speaking can be challenging enough for many of us as it is, but for Watford player, Ken Sema, to come out and speak to the cameras fully aware of his life long battle with a stutter is emotionally fantastic!!

He keeps it steady, keeps going no matter what, and keeps it always as a smiley conversation, and he absolutely nailed it!!! Outstanding work Ken and an inspiration to so many facing speech or language impediments 👏🏼

Do you remember sitting in training sessions that were so engaging that not only did you learn so much, but you really enjoyed it and told others as much? Do you also recall the effect of those less engaging ones...

We work with individuals and organisations to train trainers, to ensure that the delivery does their knowledge, experiences, and the quality of their products/serices justice. Switching the focus to the candidates rather than the content can make a huge difference to the delivery, how it is received, and how the trainer feels delivering it.

Ever thought about starting your presentation or speech with a rhetorical question? (excuse the irony...)

Now is a great time to give it a go! This is an easy way to lead into your subject matter as it gets your audience thinking about what you are about to share with them and why it's important to listen to it. But you will notice that we are very specific in suggesting that it should be rhetorical, and this is for good reasons.

Do they know your "why"?

Sharing your "why(s)" helps people focus and chose to listen. It gives meaning and purpose behind why you may be hosting this meeting or doing this presentation at a conference.

In some case, individuals in an audience may have expectations or requirements as to what they will take away from this talk, presentation or meeting, but sharing your "why" will help them find the content relevant and engaging overall.

This will result in you being in control. To find out more about this tip, go to: https://bit.ly/3xSxIOL
