We’ll be out and about all this week helping NHS Somerset and Somerset Council raise awareness of the dangers of high blood pressure. YEOVIL today, then covering BRIDGWATER, HIGHBRIDGE, BURNHAM, WELLINGTON and TAUNTON over the course of the week.

The message is ‘High Blood Pressure is the leading cause of Heart Attacks and Strokes. Know Your Numbers, Change Your Story’.

🏃 12 Marathons in 12 Months for Pancreatic Cancer UK🏃. Peter ‘Nugget’ Dunlop (Tri2Run) is raising money for Pancreatic Cancer Uk

Ok, so this quite insane individual is taking on the monumental challenge of running 12 full marathons in 12 consecutive months, legend! And it’s all to raise much needed funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

The 12 marathons in 12 months symbolises the 12 month battle with the disease which Peters mother, Jane Dunlop, endured before her sad parting in 2017, aged just 63yrs. An amazing woman whom we admired and knew well here at The Bannervan.

‘Nugget’ is already 7 marathons into his brutal challenge and we think it’s incredible! Thus, the mighty Banner Van is out and about to help spread the word about his almighty challange.

🚁🚁🚁🙌 We’re out and about in YEOVIL today helping Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance to ask YOU to sign up for their’5K Twilight Shift’ Charity Run/Walk on Saturday 6th July at Henstridge Airfield.

Whether you’re a serious runner or just looking for a fun way to exercise, this event is perfect for everyone. Walk, jog, or run - individually, with your family, or as part of a group.
