We would like to thank all our valued customers over the years, and let you know that our shop is now permanently closed as we prepare to leave our Tavistock premises in June 2024 when the shop lease is up.
We've had a wonderful 3 years in this shop (and 10 years in business!).
Some of the things we are particularly proud of include:
💖 We've helped thousands of customers with invitations and printing for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, baby showers, funerals and loads more big life moments.. And in the last few years developing the Flourish Paperworks brand to represent all women through meaningful and powerful illustrations which we conceptualised and created in-house.
💖 This business was the birth place of the charity Women - the place where we tested the idea of giving life-changing employment opportunities to women in recovery. We ran group work programmes, offered paid employment to 4 women and work experience placements to another 9 women. This business supported Gifted Women with over £10,000 of funding which we generated through selling stationery! Gifted Women will forever be its legacy.
💖 10 years of employing women, (and enabling those with caring responsibilities to juggle work and home life with flexibility).
💖 Hosted more year 10 work experience students from Tavistock College than we can count
💖 Supported local businesses as our suppliers
💖 We proudly celebrated Pride and marked Black History Month in Tavistock.
It's been a real joy to do all of this in the town of Tavistock, and we thank you for all of your support.
