If we support our towns small businesses, they will be able to stay open, for us! 🫶🏼
Hi everyone, bit of a different post from us today.
I receive a lot of messages and some comments on our posts regarding our opening hours, during the winter months over the last couple of years it has been extremely difficult to navigate how to operate in the most cost-effective and sensible way possible. We have been down on the beach today since this morning open with a new special on the board but have only had 3-4 customers all day. Being based on the back beach by the point means we are extremely out of the way of the town center & limited on foot-traffic of customers, without luxury of heating or indoor seating either.
This unfortunately is the same thing that happens on other days we are opening during the day. Unless we are busier during the day to cover the costs of being open during these times, it is not sustainable. We have to mainly focus on Just Eat through the winter months as it is our main source of custom. Which also brings the issue of having a chef working from 10am til 9pm at night, these are long hours to sustain during the winter when our summer months are so busy.
This post is just to shed light on the reason why our opening hours are limited & flexible through the winter and hoping our customers can understand this.
We really are doing our absolute best to make it work 🖤
