I know, I know. LinkedIn has a reputation...

Stuffy. Corporate. Full of people announcing things nobody asked for.

👉🏻 But here's what I see every day...

Founders building real businesses, sharing what they actually know, and attracting clients without ever doing a cold pitch.

It's one of the most powerful platforms for business owners right now. And most people are completely sleeping on it.

If you've been ignoring LinkedIn because it feels like hard work or just a bit… beige, follow me!

I share practical tips on how to actually use it. No corporate speak. No cringe. Just stuff that works 💜

Most business owners don’t struggle with LinkedIn because they’re bad at it.

They struggle because every time they sit down to post…

their mind goes blank!

So what happens?

They either:
• overthink it
• don’t post
• or throw something out that doesn’t really say anything

And then LinkedIn “doesn’t work”.

But it’s not a LinkedIn problem.

It’s a:
👉 “I don’t know what to say” problem

That’s exactly why I pulled together 20 simple post ideas in this.

Nothing fancy.
Just practical ways to turn what’s already in your head into content.

Curious — which one do you actually find hardest?

A lot of founders ask me about LinkedIn Ads.

But the real question isn’t:

“Should we run LinkedIn Ads?”

It’s:

“Are we actually ready to run LinkedIn Ads?”

Because ads don’t fix unclear messaging, vague audiences or weak offers.

They just amplify them.

That’s why some businesses see incredible results from LinkedIn Ads…

…and others burn through budget with very little to show for it.

Out of curiosity — where are you right now?

🤔 Thinking about ads

I audited a founder’s LinkedIn profile this week.

The business had plenty of activity on their page.

Awards.
Company news.
Employee milestones.
Press mentions.

But there was one thing missing.

❌ Nothing educational.

No posts explaining:

• what their industry needs to know
• common mistakes their target audience makes
• insights from their experience
• things customers should be thinking about

Which means potential clients visiting the page saw activity…

…but not expertise.

This is something I see quite often when auditing founder LinkedIn accounts.

Businesses talk about what’s happening inside the company, but the posts that build credibility usually focus on what the audience can learn.

That’s where founders have a huge advantage.

You already have the knowledge.

Your audience just needs to see it!

Organic vs Paid on LinkedIn: What each one is actually responsible for 🤔

🌿 Organic builds:
• Credibility
• Warmth
• Authority
• Ongoing visibility

💵 Paid builds:
• Targeted reach
• Speed
• Scalable distribution
• Controlled growth

For founder-led businesses, ads can feel like a big investment!

But when layered onto a credible organic presence, they become amplification — not guesswork 👌🏻

ok, let's be kind for a minute...

It’s not that you’re inconsistent on LinkedIn.

It’s that you don’t have a structure 🙃

IF your content is currently relying on:
• Inspiration
• Mood
• Spare time

It will always feel hard 😬

Businesses that succeed on LinkedIn don’t post more.

They remove decision fatigue.

How LinkedIn should work for a business:
Content should come from strategy — not creativity alone!

The 3 layers every business's LinkedIn presence should have..!

Most businesses operate on one layer: posting.

But we need to tell you that a strong LinkedIn presence has three:

1️⃣ Foundation
Clear positioning. Clear audience. Strong profile alignment.

2️⃣ Content System
Defined pillars. Repeatable formats. Strategic themes.

3️⃣ Distribution
Organic visibility + paid amplification.

If LinkedIn feels inconsistent, one of these layers is usually missing!

Do you have all of your layers in action!?

Before you post more… pause.
Being ignored is usually a signal, not a failure.

1️⃣ Get clearer on who you’re actually writing for
If your content is for “everyone”, it lands with no one.

2️⃣ Re-read your last post and ask: what problem does this solve?
If the answer isn’t obvious, it won’t be obvious to your audience either.

3️⃣ Stop leading with what you do
Start with what your audience is dealing with.

4️⃣ Check your positioning before your posting frequency
More content won’t fix unclear messaging.

5️⃣ Look at who’s engaging — not how many people
A few right people matter more than lots of vague interest.

6️⃣ Make it easier to understand what you want people to do next
Interest without direction usually goes nowhere.

7️⃣ Write like you speak to clients, not like a “LinkedIn post”
The more natural it sounds, the more it’s read.

8️⃣ Give people a reason to care now
Timely, relevant beats polished every time.

9️⃣ Review what’s already working and do more of that
You don’t need to reinvent everything — just repeat what’s landing.

🔟 Step back and look at the bigger picture
Sometimes the issue isn’t the content — it’s how LinkedIn fits into the business.

Most businesses don’t need better LinkedIn ideas.
They need clarity on what LinkedIn is supposed to be doing for them.

How is your LinkedIn content currently performing??

If I'm auditing your business's LinkedIn profile....

I'm not looking for things to criticise. I’m looking to understand how LinkedIn currently fits into the business, and whether it’s supporting the goals it’s meant to support.

🥅 I start with your LinkedIn goals.
What do you actually want LinkedIn to do? Visibility, credibility, enquiries, growth.. Or something else entirely?

From there, I look at what you’re already doing well. Most businesses have far more in place than they realise. The audit is about building on that, not starting again.

I then identify what’s holding results back. This is rarely about effort. More often it’s mixed messaging, lack of direction, or activity that isn’t clearly linked back to the business.

From there, I review profile and positioning — whether your LinkedIn presence clearly reflects what your business does and who it’s for — followed by content and engagement, and whether those are attracting the right people, not just any people.

👉🏻 One of the biggest things I look for is alignment with your goals. When your profile, content and activity aren’t pulling in the same direction, LinkedIn starts to feel unpredictable and frustrating.

Finally, I pull together quick wins for the next 30–60 days 🏆

Not a long to-do list — just the most impactful changes that will make LinkedIn work harder for your business.

This is exactly what the LinkedIn Business Growth Audit is designed to

👉🏻 If you’d like that clarity, you can request an audit.

No pressure. Just a clear view of what’s going on.
