BREAKING: MINISTRY OF EDUCATION BANS SHS HEADS FROM DIRECT ADMISSIONS

ACCRA, GHANA — The Ministry of Education has issued a stern warning to all heads of Senior High Schools (SHS), Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS), and Technical and Vocational Institutes (TVIs) across the country. Headmasters and mistresses are strictly banned from admitting any students outside the official Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS). [1]

The Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, gave the directive ahead of the upcoming academic year. He made it clear that the era of manual admissions or protocol side-arrangements by school heads is completely over.

Any headmaster or headmistress caught violating this directive and admitting unplaced students will face severe disciplinary sanctions once national enrolment data is validated.
