LVLDC Silver Stetson Awards – Rob Fowler

Having been awarded a hat-trick of Silver Stetson Awards, today, and on behalf of Jay Haldron, his wonderful team, and of course, all the fantastic and dedicated members of the Lawley Village Line Dancing Club in Telford, Shropshire, I travelled to Guardemar del Segura, located on the Orihuela Costa, to once again meet up with the internationally recognized line dance choreographer Rob Fowler, at the esteemed Westvilles Road House, a venue renowned for its creative contributions to the world Line Dancing Community.

This year the LVLDC members awarded Rob with three Silver Stetson Awards for 2025 including:

Best Beginner Dance 2025 for Love Potion 666

Best Intermediate+ Dance 2025 for Tennessee Whisky

Best Choreographer 2025

Rob Fowler is a distinguished figure in the world of line dance choreography, known for his innovative routines and dedication to advancing the art form. His expertise has earned him global acclaim, and he continues to inspire dancers around the world.

I also had the pleasure of joining two of today’s dance sessions led by Rob Fowler and Laura Sway, and I would like to thank them both. It was lovely to meet you today, Laura.

I would also like to thank Christine and John Cooper for helping to arrange my visit, which included walking in during Rob’s teaching of “Going Blonde” and pausing the class to surprise him. Thank you both as well for keeping the presentation a complete surprise.
