Next social media workshop will be on Tuesday 22nd September, 9am to 12noon, hosted by The Growth Hub - Gloucestershire Tewkesbury branch 😀

Susan took part in the first ever Tourism workshop today, hosted by The Growth Hub - Gloucestershire. Thank you to everyone who participated and provided feedback, we are so pleased everyone picked up some new tips and found it extremely useful. Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway The Brewery Quarter, Cheltenham Tudor Farmhouse Hotel & Restaurant

Emma Provins from Skylight9 Limited presented 'The Tourism Buyers' journey, plus talked us through a 12 point social media strategy.

Susan talked through the 'Reset, Review, Restart' strategy, which many of the Secret Space venues have adopted and gave examples of how venues in Gloucestershire and surrounding areas have adapted, plus gave great insights into the hospitality industry.

Steve from Visitgloucestershire talked us through the initiative and the plans for the future of Gloucestershire, plus gave details on how to get involved and collaborate with others.

The fundraising events we have planned for this year may be postponed or cancelled, therefore we are making this EMERGENCY APPEAL to you all, for your support. 🙏

Currently our Hollie Guard app has over 110,000 downloads and is growing fast. We provide Hollie Guard free of charge, but the app costs our charity approx. £40,000 a year to keep it running.

As the coronavirus pandemic has more of an impact for us in the UK, many people are being advised to self-isolate. But while home is widely considered the safest place to be for many, this is far from reality for victims of domestic abuse.

We believe that during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Hollie Guard could provide a valuable safety net for vulnerable people self-isolating, for example enabling an elderly person to alert a family member if they need urgent help but are unable to call someone.

We know that things are uncertain for many of us, but we can only provide our Hollie Guard with support of individuals or businesses such as yourselves.
