There are some great systems out there that do the job of hiding your email address from the thieves. We have adopted Polycred as the app of choice.
You can set as many aliases as you like and find and use them whenever you log on. Check out https://polycred.com/

Have I Been Pwned allows you to search across multiple data breaches to see if your email address or phone number has been compromised.
