Back to Nature Campervan Stay at Wheston, Tideswell — Peak District 🌿
We’ve had a little idea here at Wheston…
Up in one of our fields, we’ve got a quiet spot with beautiful countryside views — and we’re thinking of opening it up for a small number of campervan stays.
It would be very simple… not a campsite, just a peaceful place to park, slow down, and enjoy the surroundings.
We’re lucky to be right on the Pennine Bridleway, with easy access straight out into the countryside for walking, cycling, riding, or simply relaxing and getting away from it all.
The spot sits alongside our stables (with the horses nearby and chickens wandering about 🐓), so it has that gentle, real countryside feel.
We’d keep it low-key — just 1–2 vans at a time — and may also have space for the occasional small tent stay.
We’re thinking around £20 per night for up to 2 guests, with additional guests and dogs at £5 per night.
And for those travelling with horses, we may even be able to accommodate your horse too 🐎
