Last week our designers Crystal & Kim went for a trip down memory lane at their old stomping ground, Lincoln University 🎓

They were honoured to be asked to come back to Uni and spend some time reviewing the design students’ portfolios and getting to know the next generation of designers!

Let the weekend be-GIN by celebrating World Gin Day with us as we obsess over this new product shot 😍

We love this label, with its intricate foils and emotional backstory, and thought it deserved a location shoot that not only compliments the radiant blue tones but also fits perfectly with the nautical story behind Rigel Gin and its canine inspiration Rigel the dog.

The right typography can take your branding to the next level and can be a real head turner, making your brand a 10/10. Font(s) will provide the basis for your brand identity and can become synonymous with your brand, making it instantly recognisable ✨

You don’t want to put all your eggs in one basket…once you’ve picked a font you need to be loyal, so best to know what your type on paper is at the start of your design journey!

1. Whisk ingredients to a smooth batter
2. Add a small amount of oil to a frying pan and wait for it to get very hot
3. Pour a thin layer of batter into the pan and fry for around 1 minute on each side
4. Serve with lemon and sugar or a thick slather of melted chocolate and strawberries
5. You know the rest 😋
