RIP Paddy,. Sad to hear about the passing of rally driving legend Paddy Hopkirk. Always had time for people and more than happy to chat about his exploits. Here he is pretending to have had his fingers bitten by Ozi where we were lucky enough to meet him at the MCR day, Beaulieu 2017.

I hope everyone is doing well, and feeling a little bit cooler after this weeks temperatures! Anyway, As is becoming habitual, I thought I had better do something about the ongoing neglect of my page.......So lets kick off with a fabulous opportunity earlier this year to meet and work with Jonathan on the amazing British Vita Racing Buick powered mini. This car packs a V8 punch, with some innovative engineering to make the rear engined package complete. The car has an amazing story including competing on the Targa Florio, so getting the brushwork to accurately reflect what was originally painted on the car was paramount. I had a great time working with Jonathan, who had carefully pulled together the reference material to do the job. It was an absolute pleasure to hear about his own racing days, and I can confirm his cheese on toast was outstanding!
