Meetings often fail the second they end.
Everyone talks.
Ideas come up.
Actions are mentioned.
Someone says “we should do that”.
Then everyone gets busy again.
A week later, half the value has disappeared.
This is one of the simplest places AI can help.
Not by replacing the meeting.
By making sure the meeting actually turns into action.
Record it on voice notes.
Take the transcript.
Drop it into a specifically prompted AI assistant.
Ask it to pull out the decisions, actions, owners and deadlines.
Suddenly the meeting becomes useful.
not just:
“Here are the notes.”
but:
“What was agreed?”
“Who is doing what?”
“What needs chasing?”
“What are the next steps?”
That is why a custom GPT for meeting transcripts can be so useful.
It gives you a consistent way to turn conversation into action.
We created this exact thing.
Comment "MEETING" (or message us), and we'll send the link so you can get every bit out of your meetings
it's free to use even if you don't have a Chat GPT account (note we definitely don't see any of your chat, but the standard OpenAI T&C's apply)

This is where AI starts to get really interesting for businesses.

Not when it writes another email.
When it starts running the work behind the scenes.

A café in Stockholm is experimenting with this now.
The coffee is still made by humans, but an AI agent called Mona is helping manage the business in the background.

That is the important shift.

AI is moving from:

“Can you help me write this?”
to:
“Can you help run this process?”

That is a very different question.
And it is where the real business value starts to appear.

But for AI to work properly inside a business, it needs more than a prompt.

It needs context.

The rules.
The data.
The people.
The processes.
The judgement points.

That is when AI becomes more than a tool.
It becomes part of the operating system of the business.

At Insignia, this is where we are focusing now, both for our own processes and for clients.

Agentic workflows connected to proper business context.
That is where we think the next real leap is.

We think a lot of businesses are still using AI like it's Google.

Open a new chat
Ask a question
Copy the answer
Move on

It's useful, but also limited.

The real value starts when AI has proper context to work from:
Your business.
Your customers.
Your services.
Your processes.
Your best examples.

Which is when AI stops giving generic answers and starts becoming something of true value.

At Insignia, we are working on this for our own business processes, as well as for clients.

The next step is something closer to an "internal brain" for the business
One place where knowledge, documents and processes can be understood properly by AI.

Not just better prompts....
Better context :)

How people find your business online is changing...

For years, SEO was fairly simple:

Rank on Google.
Win the click.
Turn that click into an enquiry.

That still matters.

But search is no longer just a list of links.

Google is showing AI summaries.
Tools like ChatGPT are becoming part of the research process.

Ofcom says Google Search is still used by 82% of UK adults.

So Google is not going anywhere.

But AI is now sitting inside the search journey.

That changes the question for small businesses.

It is not just:

“Can people find our website?”

It is:

“Can search engines and AI tools actually understand what we do?”

If your website is unclear, thin or poorly structured, that becomes harder.

This is where SEO is heading.

Not away from the basics.

Back towards them.

Clear pages.
Useful content.
Good structure.
Real answers to real customer questions.

We built a simple AI Website Checker to help businesses see if their site is ready for this shift.

We are now less than a week away from the Pet Remedy Emotional Wellbeing in Animals 2026 conference, the first of its kind and happening right here in Torbay.

With over 150 delegates travelling from across the world to join us, it is something really special to be part of and we are proud to have helped bring it all together.

Last year, we supported Pet Remedy in delivering a global online conference that welcomed more than 500 attendees over two days, featuring world renowned speakers. This year, we have taken things even further by helping to deliver both the online experience again and a two day in person conference.

For us, it is about more than just websites or marketing.

We work with businesses to find the right solutions and make them happen. From online booking and social media, to email campaigns and app messaging, this event has brought together so many different elements to create a seamless experience.

We are not just a service provider, we become part of your team.

Over the past 12 months we’ve been working with Robert Fox & Sons Engineers to transform their online visibility and enquiry levels.

When they first came to us they were receiving virtually no enquiries from their previous agency’s work. Through a focused organic SEO strategy we’ve helped turn that around and they are now receiving around 3–4 genuine enquiries every week directly from search.

The approach was simple but strategic: creating relevant, well structured content built around proven search phrases that potential customers are actively using. By aligning their website content with real search demand we’ve been able to significantly improve their visibility in Google and drive consistent, qualified traffic to the site.

Organic SEO takes time, but when done properly it builds a steady pipeline of enquiries without relying on paid ads.

Not every website project is about a bold redesign or flashy new features.
Sometimes it’s about something far more important — trust.

Recently we worked with Sarah Tempest (sarah-tempest.com), who came to us after months of frustration. Her hosting account had been hacked multiple times. Despite trying to resolve it, the issues continued.

It got to the point where she was afraid to even log in to her own website. For over a year she avoided making updates, worried she would trigger another breach.

That’s not a design problem.
That’s a confidence problem.

After a recommendation, Sarah asked us to step in. We:
• Migrated her website and email to a secure, professionally managed platform
• Removed the risk of legacy vulnerabilities
• Carried out a light rebuild rather than transferring across compromised files
• Ensured everything was clean, stable and future-proof

We deliberately chose not to simply move the old site. If something has been repeatedly hacked, you don’t copy it — you rebuild it properly.

The outcome?
A website that works.
Emails that are secure.
And most importantly, a client who feels safe logging in again.

In digital, security and stability are not “extras”. They are foundations.

Sometimes the biggest win is restoring confidence.

If your website feels like a liability instead of an asset, that’s a red flag worth addressing.
